Students, Staff, Alumni, Company Reps

Or anyone who can skate and hold a hockey stick!

 

The alumni hockey tournament – affectionately known as

 

HOCKEY-O-RAMA

 

 – will be held September 28th and 29th, and YOU ARE INVITED to participate.  This tournament is an opportunity for veterinarian alumni and current students from around western Canada to get together and play some hockey.

All students are welcome to play. For more information and to explore billeting opportunities contact Dr. Jeff Douglas (UCVM, douglasj@ucalgary.ca) or Dr. Al Chicoine (WCVM).

If you are interested in playing goal, please contact the organizing committee. We have a special deal for you.

Fee:    student fees are $40 each, everyone else is $250. Registration covers:

            — Ice time for 3 one-hour games

            — Friday night pizza/refreshment extravaganza

            — CE Program Saturday afternoon (1.0 hours ABVMA approved CE credit)

  • (banquet tickets not included in student fees, available at extra cost to students)

 

Teams:    Teams are selected Friday night in an "open draft" format. If you are not there at draft time we will use the self-declared scouting report and other information available to rank your skill to facilitate drafting.
